Tandem Music Group, established in January of 2016, is an independent management, music publishing and entertainment company distributed through Warner Music Group and founded by Orlando "Jahlil Beats" Tucker, Dave "Doobie" Elliot and Ra-Tah Johnson


Jahlil Beats

Orlando “Jahlil Beats” Tucker is a Multi-Platinum Grammy Award Winning Music Producer from Chester, PA.  He is signed to Jay-Z’s flagship label, Roc Nation, and the Founder of TANDEM Music Group.  He’s worked with the likes of Prince, Diddy, Chris Brown, Drake, Rick Ross and Meek Mill just to name a few. Jahlil has become one of Chester’s most important success stories. His ability to create great music is only one characteristic that breathes life into young individuals from Chester. Jahlil’s willingness to give back and help economically redevelop the City of Chester shows the youth that there is opportunity to pursue your dreams and help others by inspiring and believing.

David Elliott

David “Doobie” Elliott is Co-CEO and President of Tandem Enterprises LLC. Born and raised in the heart of South Philadelphia, David has extensive experience in Accounting and Business Management. During his time as Business Manager for Sports and Entertainment Financial Group (SEFG), David has worked with the likes of The Roots, Jill Scott, Marsha Ambrosias, Tyreek Evans and Dion Waiters just to name a few. In 2008 David established his own management & marketing firm for athletes and entertainers called All Angels, LLC., and in 2016 he & Jahlil founded Tandem Music Group. Within the first year, David was able to secure major distribution and publishing deals. Though David has achieved many accomplishments, he remains humble and is eager to continue to learn and grow in this ever-evolving business.



Ra-Tah Johnson

Ra-Tah "Ra" Johnson was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During his time with Coca-Cola as Ethnic Marketing Manager, Ra-Tah has worked on several music driven campaigns with the likes of Destiny's Child, Fat Joe, Eve and Angie Martinez to name a few. Ra-Tah eventually left Coca-Cola to start his own booking agency Atlantis Artists Agency.  As a booking agent, Ra was introduced to a local group Oschino and Sparks who were signed to Roc-A-Fella Records/Def Jam/Universal, that he went on to manage for many years. After stepping away from the music business for several years, in 2014 Ra was re-energized by long time friend  David "Doobie" Elliott to get back in the game.  Doobie introduced him to Jahlil Beats and Ra was sold. Jahlil and Doobie shared the same vision thus creating TANDEM!!!
